Sarah Lee Pryor daughter of the late Joseph and Rosa Granaway was born on March 20, 1922.  She departed this life on March 13, 2020 at the home of her daughter, Valerie Pryor.

Sarah was married to Snowden Clyde Pryor, Jr. for 37 years.  Snowden preceded her in death along with her three oldest children, Barbara, James (Jimmy) and Joseph and three sisters and two brothers.  Sarah joined the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at an early age and remained faithfully until her health failed.  Sarah was a member of the Missionaries and sang on the Senior Choir for over 50 years.

She leaves to cherish memories three devoted children, her son Clyde Lorenzo (Sylvia), two daughters, Valerie and Sheila Pryor, all of Richmond, Virginia; eleven grandchildren, two devoted, Darren Coles and Vonda Pryor; 25 great grandchildren, one devoted, Donte Taylor; seven nieces, three nephews, one aunt, Edith Shelton; devoted cousin, Lucy Jackson, two devoted friends, Priscilla Trice and Doris Jackson and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, among them, Ellen Grover
