Shatimah Latonya Haskins was the 7th child to the late Sandra Haskins. Shatimah departed this life on March 2, 2025 at VCU Medical Center. She was surrounded by her family and friends.

Shatimah was preceded in death by her grandparents Eugene and Alberta Haskins and her oldest sister Shakirah Haskins-Stephens.

She leaves to cherish her memory. Her adoptive mother Deborah Colvin. Her adoptive siblings Silas Colvin (Valarie), Roshanna Smith (Billy), Zandreia Colvin, Quionte, Carlton, and Shantiyya. 3 sisters Deqwandra, Octavia, and Jasmin. 3 brothers Kevin, Eugene, and KeyVonte. Her devoted friends, Tre, Iyanna, and Candance. Also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shatimah became a member of Oxford Mt Zion at the age of 5 years old. Shatimah loved being around her family. Being the youngest of 8 she always demanded attention. Shatimah was the selfie queen, there was never a time you wouldn't catch her taking pictures of herself. She loved music and stayed with her headphones on. She was passionate about nursing. Shatimah was comfortable with who she was. Her colorful socks could catch you off guard but they matched her colorful personality. Saying goodbye is never easy so we will just say we will see you later Timah.
