Shirley P. Wyatt, affectionately known as "Slick" was born June 5, 1942 to Harry and Dolly Wyatt in Hanover County, Virginia. He departed his life on January 27, 2022 at his daughter's home in Richmond, Virginia.
Shirley P. Wyatt attended Hanover County Public Schools. At an early age he accepted Christ and became a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Montpelier, Virginia.
Shirley was employed by Holly Farms for a number of years. He also was employed by the Railroad Company in Baltimore, Maryland for five years. He retired from Pizza Hut in Richmond, Virginia.
His favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing. He enjoyed dancing and spending time with his family. He loved his grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Dolly Wyatt; three brothers, James, Lee, and Linwood Wyatt; five sisters, Haley Wyatt, Pearl Gaines, Edith Harris, Clara Lewis, and Bernice Morris. Shirley leaves cherished memories with his loving wife, Mary Wyatt; two sons, Andrew and Lloyd Mallory; four daughters, Marion Garrant (Jesse), Shirleen Wyatt, Annie Wyatt, and Cindy Wyatt; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 15 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, one devoted nephew Raymond Morris, and one devoted friend, Ronnie Williams.
