On Saturday, March 22, 2025, God called Sylvia Delores Lewis, from labor to reward. Sylvia was born September 25, 1960, to the late Clinton Lewis, Sr. and the late Jessie Lewis. In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by four brothers Maverick, Floyd, Clinton, Jr., and Thomas Woodson: one sister Loretta Cousins, one brother-in-law Herbert Cousins, Sr. and one nephew Sean Houchens.

Sylvia was educated in the Henrico County Public Schools. For many years, she was a devoted caregiver for family and friends. Sylvia also enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children; Clayton Lewis and Myesha Johnson; four grandchildren, Arianna Lewis, Harmony Roach, Taliya Lewis and Savonna Lewis; sister, Janice Lewis (Steve); brothers, Jerry Lewis (Clarice) and Timothy Lewis (Deborah); two sisters-in-law, Addie Woodson and Myra Woodson; one aunt, Lottie Cosby, a host of nieces and nephews; four devoted nieces, Shanelle Houchens, Lisa Adams, Melissa Cousins, Roxanne Cousins; two devoted nephews, Calvin Woodson (Sheresa) and Terry Lee Thomas; a host of cousins two loving, Sharlene Lofton (Vincent, Sr.) and Ann Adkins; supportive friends, Carol Crawford, Justine Mason, Linda Morton and Lorene Waddy and other relatives and friends. Sylvia will be deeply missed by many.
