Elaine is the daughter of the late Emanuel and Mattie Robinson.  At the time of her transition, she was a resident of Ruther Glen, Virginia and a member of Brown Grove Baptist Church in Ashland, Virginia.  Elaine was a 1973 graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Ashland and had retired from a career with Macy's Department store.  Cherishing fond memories are her siblings, Lucille Peatross, Emanuel Robinson, Jr. (Dorothy), Earnest Robinson, Sr. (Patricia), Gloria Robinson, Charlene Robinson; and Charles Robinson of Atlanta, Ga. as well as other relatives and a host of friends.
