Viola (Mae) Taylor, age 69, entered into God's eternal rest on Friday, April 23, 2021, at ManorCare Living Facility in Alexandria, Virginia. She was affectionately known as Mae. She was born in Ruther Glen, Virginia on May 31, 1951. She was the oldest child of William Thomas Taylor and Frances Mae Whitting who preceded her in death.

Knowing that she believed in the promise of God, we bow to the will of God, as we pause to bid farewell to our mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, and beloved friend.

Viola was educated in the Virginia Public School System during her early years. Her smile was so bright it brightened everyone's day. She loved the Lord and attended Oxford Mt. Zion Baptist Church until her illness attacked her body.

Mae is survived by two children Twandar Williams Walton (Anthony) of Temple Hills, MD and Jomaine Taylor of Upper Marlboro, MD; three grandchildre Tia Juana Walton, Troy Coleman, and Tyson Taylor; siblings Gloria Marlow, William Harris, Carroll Minor, Walter Whitting, and Francis Whitting; devoted and true friends Thelma Carter and Issac Johnson a devoted pastor and friend.
