Obituary

Violet Palmore Gordon was born on September 6, 1924 to the late Bernard and Ada Palmore. She transitioned to Heaven at Parham Doctors Hospital on December 3, 2016. She was the widow of Rev. John E. Gordon, Sr. and was also preceded in death by her daughters Paula Gordon and Gloria Gordon Martin and her beloved grandson Antoine Cornell Gordon. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Sandra Davis Peterson, Belinda Gail Brooks (Lawrence), John Jr. (Vivian), Gerald (Alma), Maurice (Loretta), Paulette Smith (Lawrence), devoted son Bernard and Vanessa Gordon, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Marvin Palmore Sr. (Ann), sisters-in-law Annie Mae Palmore, Esther Davis (James), Viola Johnson (Charles), and Joyce Gordon, brother-in-law William Gordon (Margaret), numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
