Wanda Denise Mallory, affectionately known as "Tee" was born September 12, 1958, to the late Smith Young Jr. and Patricia Young. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Sharon Young and brother Michael Young, Sr.

Tee accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Jericho Baptist Church in Ruther Glen, Virginia. She later moved her membership to Bethany Baptist Church to be with her husband and children. She briefly sang with the choir and always had an immense love for the Lord. She was united in marriage to Larry D. Mallory on July 17, 1982. To this union two daughters were born, and she took immense pride in her children.

In her early years, Tee was employed with Holly Farms Inc (later renamed Tysons) before transitioning to Capital One, where she worked for over 40 years. She retired in 2024 and enjoyed every moment of her newfound freedom.

Tee possessed a remarkable zest for life, characterized by profound joy and boundless kindness. Her vibrant spirit shone brightly throughout her life. She found immense pleasure in dancing, singing, playing games, and enjoying life to the fullest.  Everyone who truly knows her has witnessed her infamous dance moves. In fact, on her first date with Larry, they spent two hours on the dance floor. She cherished the role of grandmother above all else, showering her grandsons with unwavering affection and relishing every opportunity to share in their lives.

A beacon of warmth and devotion, Tee was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her extraordinary kindness and generosity radiated brightly, illuminating the lives of countless individuals. She extended a heartfelt welcome to all, and her gentle smile and comforting words instantly made everyone feel like a part of her family. She was the very essence of love, and she will be dearly missed by all whose lives she graced.

Tee leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years, Larry Mallory; her children, Tiffany Frazier (Maurice) and Ashley Mallory; three grandchildren, Maurice Frazier Jr., Moses Frazier and Ashton Mallory; one brother, Adrian Young (Carolyn); one sister, Karen Clayton (Junie); three sisters-in-law, Violet Young, Sheryl Moore (Linwood) and Bonita Nelson (Steve); two brothers-in-law, Dennis Mallory (Patricia) and Bryant Mallory (Sonya); aunts, Hallie Woolfolk, Yvonne Aikens, Gwen Young, Louise Young and Linda Moore; uncles, Deacon Carroll Moore, Sr., Deacon Melvin Howard, Sr., and Rev. Edward Glover; close friend Vivian James; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
