William "Lawrence" Jones was born Mary 4, 1939, to James and Bertha L. Jones who predeceased him. He departed this life June 30th, 2015, at Memorial Regional Medical Center. He joined Brown Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He was known to many as Uncle Lawrence and loved by all. He is predeceased by a daughter: Brook Amanda and is survived by one son, Jock Jones, six sisters: Lenora Cooper, Martha King-Anderson, Jean A. Jackson, Jonetta M. Williams, Vanessa J. Lee, Sandra L. Jones and Candy J. Puller. Four brothers: Thomas H. Smith (Olliemae), Adolph (Annie), Oscar (Helen), and Stephone Jones (Cheryl). One grandson: Noah A. Jones, one aunt: Amertha Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including devoted friends: Leroy Lewis, Naomi Lewis and Nashay Lewis. There will never be another brother as kind, giving and loving as he. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. We LOVE YOU and will MISS YOU deeply.
