Willie Wilkerson went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2022. He leaves to cherish his legacy his wife of 40 years Mildred J. Wilkerson; three children, Elmer "Junie Man" Jackson, Gladys (devoted son-in-law, William Jr.) Jackson, Carmelia Robinson; devoted, Goddaughter Tanicka Heiskell; three grandchildren, Keshia Robinson, Tianya Jackson, and William Jackson, III; brothers, Isaac Coleman, James "Lloyd" (Evelyn) Wilkerson and Johnnie Wilkerson; sister Bessie Ann Wilkerson; devoted brothers-in-law, Rev. Dr. Willie T. (Cornelia) Carter, Joseph Carter and Derrick Carter; sister-in-law Louise Simmons, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends, to include his close devoted friends, Douglas (Sarah) Anderson, John E Jackson, Wyoming Jackson, Audrey Powell, and Conway Taylor.
